We have begun our new inquiry into 'sustainable communities through kai' and Ruru has been busy gathering wonderings about what we could investigate.
We have finally come to our Big Question -
"I wonder if we can grow our own foods and make something from it to share?"
We now have to decide how to make this happen! There are a lot of things we must consider:
What will we grow?
What is in season?
How do we plant and look after it?
How long does it take to produce food?
Where we will grow our food? Inside or outside?
How will we get our supplies needed to grow things?
What will we do once the food is ready?

Abbie would like to grow some apples and some feijoas. The problem with this is apples grow on big trees and feijoas grow on tall plants. Abbie is concerned these won't fit in the egg carton caterpillar you are planning to use.
